S1 Trail - La Corsa Della Bora 2025

Per gli appassionati dell’ultra trail non-stop, il percorso attraverso il Carso Triestino e sul filo del confine Sloveno celebra il decennale della Corsa della Bora con un tracciato inedito. Si tratta di una gara ad anello, che prende il via e si conclude in riva al mare, attraversando il Carso Triestino per raggiungere l’altopiano Carsico e la bellissima Riserva Naturale della Val Rosandra. Il viaggio si eleva verso il Carso, offrendo inizialmente una vista mozzafiato sulla città e sul Golfo di Trieste. La S1 Anniversary Ultra 104 km si addentra poi nell’entroterra, dove i partecipanti possono correre tra i vigneti, esplorare le meraviglie delle grotte carsiche e attraversarei siti storici della Prima Guerra Mondiale. Questa è l'unica gara del Carso che attraversa ben tre riserve naturali: la Riserva Naturale delle Falesie di Duino, la Riserva Naturale del Monte Orsario e la Riserva Naturale della Val Rosandra, offrendo un'esperienza unica di corsa immersa nella natura protetta.

For fans of the non-stop ultra trail, the route through the Triestine Karst and along the Slovenian border celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Bora Race with an unprecedented route. This is a loop race, which starts and finishes on the seashore, crossing the Trieste Karst to reach the Karst plateau and the beautiful Val Rosandra Nature Reserve. The journey rises to the Karst, initially offering breathtaking views of the city and the Gulf of Trieste. The S1 Anniversary Ultra 104 km then enters the hinterland, where participants can run through vineyards, explore the wonders of Karst caves and cross historic sites from the First World War. This is the only race in the Karst region that runs through no less than three nature reserves: the Duino Cliffs Nature Reserve, the Monte Orsario Nature Reserve and the Val Rosandra Nature Reserve, offering a unique running experience surrounded by protected nature.
