About the Race

The Hibernal Hills 50 mile is our new, season opening race and, is a great one to kick the year off. This is a single looped event starting and finishing at the stunning location of Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire. The route is runnable but undulating with some bigger, longer hills throughout and, around 6500 ft of climbing. The first 50km of the route is along the picturesque Staunton and Monarchs Ways before working up onto the South Downs Way back towards the finish at QECP. This will form the first part of our new "South Downs Triple Crown" challenge, with the other 2 races being the South Downs 100k, and Winter on the Downs 55 miles. The three races must be completed in a calendar year. This challenge is optional of course.
