Dolomiti Extreme Trail 2022

Departure from DXT Village in Forno at 850 m above sea level. After the initial 2 km that lead to the Pratoront plain, you reach Pralongo at 1000 m above sea level (3th km); near the church, take the road the uphill forest-pastoral road which reaches the Vach lake (6th km). Continue on the steep path up to the scree of Vant dei Gravinai and to the Val Barance saddle, the highest point at 1670 m asl (9th km). From here the descent begins, first on a path and then on a white road that leads to the Dont refreshment point (13.5 km). Go up to Villa, then to Astragal (17th km) on the silvo-pastoral road. With a short climb and then descent you reach Casal. The last 2 km on asphalt cross the villages of Bragarezza, Pra, Sommariva and Campo and finally the finish in Forno. Partenza dal Villaggio DXT di Forno a 850 m slm. Dopo i 2 km iniziali che portano alla piana di Pratoront, si raggiunge Pralongo a 1000 m slm (3° km); nei pressi della chiesetta si imbocca la strada silvo pastorale in salita che raggiunge il laghetto del Vach (6° km). Si prosegue su ripido sentiero fino al ghiaione del Vant dei Gravinai e alla forcella Val Barance, punto più alto a 1670 m slm (9° km). Da qui inizia la discesa, prima su sentiero poi su strada bianca che porta al ristoro di Dont (14 km). Si risale a Villa, poi su ondulata strada silvo-pastorale fino ad Astragal (17° km). Con breve salita e poi discesa si raggiunge Casal. Gli ultimi 2 km su asfalto attraversano i paesi di Bragarezza, Pra, Sommariva e Campo e infine l’arrivo a Forno.
